- Project Scope: Design/Build
Nike has been coming up with some creative ideas each year for Go Skateboarding Day in NYC, and this year, with the help of California RampWorks and their elite build & design crew, they targeted Williamsburg Brooklyn. Behind the thriving Williamsburg flea market on Kent Avenue and N11th street, CA RampWorks setup a pop-up skate park broken out into three unique sports themed sections; a mini ramp painted to look like a basketball court, a main golf course inspired area, and a beginner section made to resemble a futsol field, complete with banks, ledges & more. All pushing Nike’s message that “skateboarding is not a game”. Check out the photos and clips for a closer look.
